Your safety and your business are our priorities. At Travel Forward, both are in safe hands.

What to expect at Travel Forward 2021

At Travel Forward, we are all about connecting people, and so the health and safety of our visitors, exhibitors and staff is of the utmost priority. Our team are working closely with local authorities to implement all necessary precautions and we will continue to update you on the specifics as we approach the show. We are dedicated to providing you with robust safety measures whilst creating an environment in which your business can thrive again. Here’s how your show will look different this year:

Stay Safe Guidelines

Information for anyone who will be present at the event. Learn about our increased hygiene measures, social distancing management and medical safeguarding.

Inbound Travel Advice

Please ensure you have taken the time to read all of the latest Government, Public Health, travel and testing guidance. You can find these here.

Registration

Please make sure you register. Admission will be strictly by registration in advance only and details may be used for contact tracing if necessary.

Plan ahead

Use our planning tools to plan your visit before you arrive at the venue. Knowing what you are going to do and where to go will contribute to your safe and productive attendance. Also plan how to get to and from the venue by checking any relevant travel advice or restrictions.

Stay home if you are unwell

All guests are encouraged to check you are feeling well before attending our event. Please ensure that you are in good health, with no fever or other symptoms related to COVID-19, before travelling to the venue. 

On arrival

All badge scanning will be contactless. Please have your badge ready on your smartphone. If that is not possible, a printed version is acceptable but we will not be handing out badge holders or lanyards.

Face Coverings

All attendees, except those exempt, are required to wear face coverings or masks. This should be worn at all times and in all areas of the show. 

Physical distancing

Increased spacing and a one-way system will be in place across the exhibition floor, so that you can move safely through the whole venue whilst maintaining a safe distance. Signage will be used throughout to communicate safe practices and show the direction of pedestrian movement.

Hygiene

Hand sanitiser will be readily available throughout the venue. Please continue to follow guidance and wash your hands frequently.

When meeting

Avoid shaking hands and exchanging physical business cards or literature. At service counters, information points and catering outlets hygiene screens will be in place for yours and staff safety.

Venue facilities

Ventilation will be increased, improving fresh air circulation in line with the latest guidance. Cloakroom facilities may have limited space so we encourage you to bring as little with you as possible.

Cleaning

We will maintain the highest standards of cleaning before during and after the event. This will include frequent cleaning of all regularly touched surfaces, seating in conference areas and meeting places.

Food and beverage

All catering facilities will be open but in line with the latest government guidance. At catering outlets only cashless payments will be accepted. Seating areas will have increased spacing.

Exhibitor stands

Exhibitors are reviewing stand designs to ensure physical distancing is maintained. Capacities for each stand will be displayed clearly.

Exhibiting at Travel Forward may look a little different this year, but it will continue to be the place where ideas spark and new opportunities begin. COVID-19 Safety & Security

Your safety and security is our priority. For the health and wellbeing of all attendees the following additional measures must be observed.

Responding effectively to COVID-19 is a shared responsibility. We must all adopt new practices, respect each other, and follow science-based guidelines to safeguard ourselves and others. Let’s work together to overcome the challenges, bring people together and get businesses growing again.
