Pulse Hotels & Resorts builds momentum with new experiences and upcoming launches across its portfolio

Pulse Hotels & Resorts continues to build momentum across its expanding Maldives portfolio with a new season of creative collaborations, conservation-led experiences and distinctive guest programming. From an acclaimed British artist taking residence at The Nautilus Maldives and purposeful ocean initiatives at Nova Maldives, to a new platform for creative talent at Eri Maldives and an action-packed final quarter at Kandima Maldives, the group continues to evolve each property through experiences shaped by its individual identity.

Aura Maldives prepares for Q1 2027 opening in Baa Atoll

The Group is preparing for the arrival of Aura Maldives in early 2027, bringing a new expression of mindful luxury to the Baa Atoll UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.

Conceived around modern simplicity, sustainability and a considered connection with its surroundings, Aura is designed for travellers seeking a more mindful relationship with island life. Expansive private villas for couples and multi-generational families will be complemented by a collection of dining concepts, holistic wellness at Solasta Spa and experiences grounded in nature and local culture.

Set close to Hanifaru Bay within one of the Maldives' most remarkable marine environments, Aura will mark the next chapter in the continued expansion of the Pulse portfolio.

The Coral Residences extends Pulse into luxury island ownership

With opening scheduled for early 2027, The Coral Residences will extend the group's hospitality expertise into luxury residential ownership — offering buyers more than a holiday home.

The residences, available as two and three-bedroom apartments, are set to push the boundaries of real estate ownership in the Maldives, giving buyers a private island residence of their own to enjoy, and a share of net rental income, whenever the home isn't in use.

The Nautilus Maldives celebrates artistic freedom and unscripted festive experiences

In the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve of Baa Atoll, The Nautilus Maldives continues to create deeply personal experiences shaped by creativity, discovery and freedom.

The resort has earned Two Michelin Keys in its very first year in the renowned Michelin Guide, recognised for offering travellers an experience built on total freedom. Further, to strengthen its position within the international luxury travel and advisor network, The Nautilus has joined the American Express Travel® Fine Hotels + Resorts® programme for 2026.

After welcoming British painter Phoebe Dickinson in October for its Masters for Masters residency, for the rest of the year, the resort will also continue its Reef Guardianship efforts, encouraging a deeper understanding of Baa Atoll's marine environment and the importance of protecting its fragile ecosystems.

The year will close with Bohemian Odyssey, a festive journey bringing together unscripted dining, restorative rituals at Solasta Spa, Art of Bohemia experiences and imaginative activities for Young Wonderers. Golden Hour Gatherings and festive feasts beneath the stars will unfold around each guest, reflecting The Nautilus's enduring philosophy of freedom from time and convention.

Nova Maldives brings purpose to its good soul days

At Nova Maldives, connection to people, place and the ocean continues to shape its good soul days.

At Nova, dive and educational travel will remain a continued focus in the coming year, anchored by an ongoing collaboration with PADI and new marine biology courses in development. Looking ahead to July 2027, the resort will also bring back Solo Traveller Month for a third edition, welcoming independent travellers to experience South Ari Atoll while becoming part of its warm island community.

To welcome Christmas and the New Year, The Garden Within will bring together ocean and island botanicals discovery, restorative rituals at Eskape Spa, and traditional Maldivian celebrations.

Eri Maldives creates a new stage for Maldivian talent

At Eri Maldives, the island of becoming continues to evolve through experiences rooted in Maldivian culture, creativity and a genuine sense of belonging.

Central to its evolving calendar are Beach Shack Takeovers that are expected to enrich Eri’s outdoor experience, transforming its beachfront space into a creative outlet  for visiting Maldivian chefs, bartenders, musicians, artisans and wellness practitioners. Eri is actively exploring a rotating programme of pop-ups to bring this to life, from guest mixologist evenings and sunset acoustic sessions to craft demonstrations, giving guests new ways to engage with contemporary Maldivian talent.

For the festive season, Eri will embrace La Dolce Vita, inspired by the sweet rhythm of island living. Long lunches beneath the palms, evenings filled with music and celebrations beneath the stars will create a warm and convivial festive atmosphere, grounded in Eri's connection to people and place.

Kandima Maldives turns up the energy for the final quarter

Following a busy summer of sports and creative talent, with July to September seeing Kandima hold the UNDP-backed "Dhirun: Art for Biodiversity" exhibition under their BIOFIN initiative, supporting local artists and conservation, Kandima Maldives is heading into the final months of 2026 with an eventful calendar. Building on successful collaborations with high-profile athletes in recent years, the  new autumn programme, Oktober Adventures, launches beginner-friendly ‘skillcation’ weekends on football, tennis and motorsport, joined by visiting talent including, British racing driver Sebastian Melrose, and viral football freestyler from the UAE, Hadiya Hakeem. The month’s wider celebrations are topped off with Bavarian delicacies and Haunted Adventures.

Closing out 2026 with the Kandima Karnival Bonanza, December will see the resort welcome a plethora of international talent, with opportunities for guests to meet and learn from them. The line-up inclues world-class experts in their fields, including German-Jamaican tennis showman Dustin Brown, and two of Women’s Super League Football’s most decorated defenders; Lucy Bronze MBE, FIFA Women's Player of the Year 2020 and five-time UEFA Women's Champions League winner, and Ona Batlle, 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup winner, alongside viral football family, The Wingroves.
