Responsible Tourism
Responsible Tourism has been one of the key themes of WTM Latin America since its first edition in 2013. Each year the event provides travel and tourism professionals with important information in relation to the best practices in responsible tourism, together with urgent matters regarding actions with impact on the environment. In addition, in 2025 WTM Latin America delivered the 5th edition of the Responsible Tourism Award.

1st Ministers’ Summit
The 1st WTM Latin America Ministers' Summit has been confirmed for Brazil. The meeting will bring together tourism ministers and ministerial representatives from across Latin America to promote strategic dialogue on the future of tourism in the region.
This first edition is being carefully organized under the theme Latin American Tourism: Responsible and Regenerative for the Future.
