What’s new this year

We have 4 new stages at WTM London this year highlighting the current topics and issues facing the industry at the moment with a steer towards helping businesses take-action so we can help this industry thrive again. Use Connect Me

‘Connect Me’ is our meetings platform tool, which enables you to meet new business connections before you come to the event.

You can network and pre-arrange a meeting, schedule your diary before arriving onsite by using the new and approved search functionality meaning we are making sure you get in front of the right people attending WTM to connect and do business with.

Join the Speed Networking Sessions

One of the most efficient ways to network and expand your connections at the show is via our face-to-face speed networking sessions between exhibitors and buyers. This is a great starting place to build foundations that will establish long-term business partnerships.

We have one session running this year:

Tuesday 8 November 8.30-10am

The sessions this year will be running in the Platinum Suites which you can access from the main Boulevard.

If you want to take part, please tick that you are interested in the Speed Networking in the corresponding section of the registration form. Should you not see this option, please email Fiona D’Souza, Hosted Buyer Programme Manager.

Buyers FAQs

As a buyer you get access to Connect Me, the online platform to pre-schedule meetings, access to our new and exciting App, access to ‘The Club’, an exclusive lounge for Buyers and Leaders, and opportunity to sign up buyer networking functions including Speed Networking.

All Buyers will be sent login details to Connect Me, our online platform. Through Connect Me, you will be able to connect with Exhibitors, make meetings, book in networking events, and select conference sessions.

As a buyer at the show, we know that your main goal is to make meetings with key exhibitors and Connect Me allows you to arrive at the show with a full diary. Using the online meetings planner function in Connect Me is certainly the best way of scheduling your meetings ahead of time, mapping out your journey around the show floor and maximising your time at the show.

 From experience, we can confidently say that buyers who use the online meetings platform report a much better experience at the show than those who rely on making ad hoc meetings.

The Connect Me support team will be on site for any questions you may have.

We are very excited about our new app and highly recommend downloading it so that you have quick access to your online meetings diary, conference programme and floor map. The app will synch with any updates to your meetings whenever you are in a wifi hotspot and will feature a new wayfinder, taking the hastle out of navigating the show floor.

We understand that there may be a valid reason for not showing up to a meeting or arriving late but consistent reports of the same will lead to your Buyer place being removed. We kindly ask that you extend the courtesy to your meeting partner of re-scheduling the meeting for another time and advising as to why you will not be able to make the meeting ahead of time.

While the UK does not currently have any restrictions into the UK, we always advise checking with your airline and / or government website. WTM London will not be held responsible for any associated costs incurred for quarantine, tests or other Covid-19 requirements or costs. It is important to note that you may have different requirements upon travelling out of the UK.

Yes, we will be supplying lanyards which will be available to collect near the entrance points to ExCeL.

As there will be no onsite public computers or laptops available you are certainly allowed to bring your own. There will be a dedicated area in The Club, the exclusive lounge for Buyers and Leaders, where you will be able to use and charge your laptop. You will need to bring your own charger and adaptor.

It is really important for us to understand how your meetings went. Were business objectives achieved? Did you get to meet who you expected to meet? This only takes a few minutes at the end of the day to complete. Please be as honest as possible with your ratings and comments. It is important to note that your ratings and comments will not be visible to your meeting partner. Remember that the Exhibitors will also be asked to rate their meetings.

You will need to rate your meetings through Connect Me, the online platform. We value all feedback on your meetings so we can continue to improve the pre-scheduled meetings functionality. There will be a no-show button should an Exhibitor not present themselves at the meeting. All ratings and comments will NOT be visible to your meeting partner.

This is important feedback for us. It is a great way to tell us what you enjoyed and if there were any things you would like us to do differently. If you don’t tell us, we won’t know.

Yes! Due to reduced printing capacity onsite, it is important that you have your badge printed and available for the 1st day of the show.

Currently you will not be able to show this on your phone. All badges must be printed.

You will be sent an email to download and print your badge nearer the time of the show.

Please present yourself to one of the reception points at either entrance to ExCeL. They will be able to assist you.

It is the responsibility of each individual to enquire about any visa requirements they may need to enter the UK. If you require a visa letter, please do get in touch with our Customer Services Team once you have completed your registration and have obtained your buyer badge number.

The new Buyer’s lounge area called ‘The Club’ is an enclosed area just for buyers and leaders to enjoy. The lounge will feature a selection of comfy seating, a catering area light refreshments throughout the day, mobile charging points, 4 semi enclosed meeting rooms that will be available to book once onsite and array of tables and seating arrangements providing space for buyers to have a meeting, network, catch up on work emails or enjoy a coffee break. For any questions, The Club's reception desk will be able to assist.

Offering its own entertainment this year, The Club will transform into a networking area the last hour of the show on days 1 and 2.

While The Club is a lounge exclusively for buyers and leaders to use, a buyer may arrange a meeting in the lounge or in one of the meetings rooms with an Exhibitor as long as the buyer is there to escort the Exhibitor for the purpose of the meeting.
