Accounting for the majority of the audience, travel trade professionals attend WTM Africa to meet new and existing contacts, gain industry insight and keep up to date with the latest travel trends. 2019 saw an increase of 15% in the number visitors at our show, these visitors traveled from 100 different countries.

Buyers

WTM Africa’s Buyer Programme comprises of two groups – Buyers Club Members and Hosted Buyers. Both groups provide a forum for senior travel industry decision makers with direct purchasing responsibility. The club facilitates networking, providing the opportunity to meet, greet and discuss business, leading to contracts being signed whilst expanding connections. In 2019,  the WTM Buyers’ Club had 688 members and 226 Hosted Buyers made up of tour operators. travel agents, wholesalers and private travel arrangers with purchasing power.
